馃拵 The 'setting' is ELECTROPLATED WITH SILVER, following the natural edge of the stone. Since it does have silver in it, it is possible it may tarnish. Just apply a little silver polish to restore. (The amount of silver is in extremely tiny quantities, with other metals, to just give the color of silver.)
